Japanese cinemas to reopen as coronavirus restrictions ease

Japan is to reopen the world's third-biggest film market after several months of lockdown.

Japanese major cinemas are allowed to begin working after several month of lockdown due to coronavirus breakout.

Japan’s government closed cinemas to prevent coronavirus epidemic; and now with partial control of the disease, it allowed the movie theaters to start working.

Last week, China also announced cinemas are allowed to reopen in case they observe all health instructions to prevent coronavirus infection.

On Tuesday, Toho Cinemas, Japan’s largest film exhibitor, announced that it will reopen 10 theaters in the areas with the lowest reported coronavirus cases.
